Eight strategies to become a winner

You are a winner? What does it take to be a winner? Winning is nothing more than an attitude. How come even though you’re doing the exact same things as the next guy, the end results aren’t the same?

Let’s examine what ingredients make up a winning attitude. Whether you need to win a crucial athletic feat, break a destructive habit, or achieve financial security, you won’t miss out if you use the following elements:

1. One day at a time

Whatever your goal, don’t be overwhelmed by the enormity of the task. Decide early on to set achievable short-term goals as you go. What can you accomplish today toward your long-term vision? Every day that brings results is an affirmation that you will be able to do the same thing tomorrow, and so on.

2. Stick to things

Stay ahead. Don’t let yourself get discouraged and give up. You never know how close you are to breakthrough. His next move; the next day may be the one that transforms your destiny.

3. The right tools

Do you have the right tools for the job? If you want to win Olympic gold, do you have all the necessary athletic skills and training? Do you want to become a network marketing success? Then you need to do your due diligence to study the best marketing strategies, source niche products, and consistently apply what you’ve learned. Get-rich-quick schemes are only achieved with hard work and constant strategic effort!

4. Look ahead; not backwards

The past is good only for learning what not to do or applying the techniques developed to achieve success. However, it is of the utmost importance not to dwell on the failures and mistakes of the past. The moment is now. Move towards your dream.

5. Forgiveness

What does forgiveness have to do with winning? Get rid of all the bad feelings you have against those who have hurt you, whether deliberately or not. Past hurts will hold you back. Let’s go; go ahead and prove to yourself that you can do it. However, remember that you are testing yourself; you’re doing it for yourself. Doing something in anger, resentment, or retaliation of any kind will block the flow of your creativity and rob you of the blissful satisfaction that comes with success.

6. Gratitude

Develop a habit of gratitude. Show gratitude to those who help you along the way. Take a few moments every now and then to reflect on all the good things you have, i.e. family, friends, education, affirmative people, talents, etc. The Bible says, “All things that are true, honest, pure, lovely, and of good report…think of these things.” (Philippians 4:8)

7. Inspired

Have a daily devotional time with God. The Lord says that if we delight in Him, He will give us the desires of our hearts (Psalm 37:4). The more you are in tune with Him, the more you will hear His voice and His direction in His daily life. Whenever you get to a point where you think you can’t do it or go any further, he remembers and recites this encouraging verse out loud: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13).

8. Expectation

Once you have the vision of which path to follow towards success; then expect great results! Thank him for his success, yes, before he can see it. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1). Also, the Bible tells us to make all our requests known to God. If He gave you the vision, the talent, and the drive to follow your dream, then He will help you! Write down his vision, stick it on the wall in front of you, and say it out loud whenever you can. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God! (Romans 10:17)

Now go ahead, just do it! Prosper and have Health, just as your soul prospers. Yes, that is also in the Bible. It is God’s Will that you prosper in every way. (John 3:2).
