So you want to get in shape and get that lean, muscular body like the guy or girl on the cover of the latest fitness magazine. Well this is exactly what the fitness industry wants you to do, trust what you just saw and get nervous. They know that the product with the beautiful and fit person will sell. Have you ever seen a health magazine with an out of shape individual on the cover?

The fitness business wants you to see the image and associate the image with what your merchandise will do for you. They don’t even have to tell you that you will look like the person in the picture, your brain has already subconsciously assumed that it will. When you’re desperate to lose weight and burn fat, this is an easy sell for advertisers to play,

So you buy what they’re selling only to find out a few weeks later that you don’t look like the person in the picture and are put off by the rigid guidelines. You want to get fit and burning belly fat is a priority, but let’s face it, you have one life. You have commitments like a family and a job. You can’t spend hours every day in the gym.

I understand the problem. I was there myself, trying to get fit and burn fat. I wanted to get fit and have a lean, strong body without having to live in the gym and follow a little regiment of crazy foods.

You see, the guy or girl in the image of the miracle product probably lives in the gym and has a genetic makeup that is more suited to building muscle, which is why they used their image in the product. Your genes determine a lot about how you build muscle. Now, this is not all doom and gloom. With the right exercise and nutrition, you can make big improvements to your physique. Just don’t compare yourself to the guy on the cover of Muscle magazine.

So we have a habit that you want to get fit and you have a life. You have responsibilities so you can’t spend hours a day in the gym. However, fitness gurus tell you that to burn fat you need to do aerobics several days a week and weight train on days when you are not responsible for aerobics. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have time to be in the gym 5 or 6 days a week.

The fitness industry wants you to keep coming back and buying the next great supplement. This is how they make their money. Do not misunderstand. There are many top notch trainers, but the industry is looking for them. You see, those ads are selecting the best genetic specimens for their ads and making you want to achieve something your body is not capable of.

So let’s face it, you’re not going to be the person on the cover of the magazine. However, you can achieve splendid results and get a lean and strong body without having to exercise 5 or 6 days a week and follow a crazy eating routine without carbs and loaded with magic supplements. With proper resistance training, proper diet with nutritious foods, drinking plenty of water and getting enough sleep, you can burn belly fat and have an attractive body. This is what burns fat.
