What Makes Non-Surgical Facelift Products Work?

It happens to all of us, one day you look in the mirror and it seems that wrinkles have appeared on your face overnight. I know that’s what happened to me. Where did they suddenly come from? Why didn’t I notice them before? First we almost cried (or many of us actually cried) and then we started making a plan to combat those lines and wrinkles. After all, there are tons of products that claim to have clinically proven effects to combat this, right? There are anti-aging, anti-wrinkle products, and even instant face lift. Instant facelift? Yes, you can actually get a product that instantly tightens and lifts your skin. The effects typically last around eight hours or so, making it perfect for a day at work or a night on the town. How do these products work and how do they compare to surgery and Botox?

Like all products, non-surgical face lift serums and creams come in a wide variety of brands with different strengths of effects. Those with stronger effects tend to cost slightly more than those with lighter effects. The first thing to consider when thinking about buying one of these beauty accessories is how much help you need. Are your lines appearing now? Do you think others really notice them or just when you look at your face in the mirror? If they appear to be “new” and are not noticed by others, you can start by using the products that cost less. Are your lines deeply ingrained and have they been around for a while? So you will probably need the products that cost a bit more but have stronger effects.

The ingredients that make this lifting effect possible can also vary. One of them is the Acmella extract. This extract comes from a plant in South America and provides a very Botox-like effect when applied. The skin relaxes and expression lines are relieved. Unlike Botox, it does not paralyze your face and, being a natural plant, it is not toxic like Botox. A stronger ingredient used in non-surgical face lift products is wheat protein. It has a film-forming agent that makes the stretching and tightening of the skin stronger and lasts a little longer. Both are great ingredients and when combined with the right carriers to help absorb them into the skin, they are helpful and effective.

Now that we know how they work, let’s compare the use of these products to surgery and Botox injections. Obviously, with the surgery you will get a narrower effect that will last much longer, but there are risks associated with the surgery that make this step not worth taking. Surgeries fail and people are left with faces that look worse than before the procedure. No beauty product is going to do what surgery can do for you, but are you willing to risk your face with it? I am not. I may not like lines and wrinkles, but I like my face. So what about the injections? First, injections can be painful and can be sore and red around the injection site for a while. In addition, Botox is a toxic bacteria that works by paralyzing your face. Have you ever seen a celebrity who seems expressionless? Botox could well be the culprit. I do not care how temporary it is, I do not want my face to freeze, although it is true that Botox can give a better effect than a beauty product.

If you are looking for a non-surgical face lift solution, it is true that beauty products will probably not give you the same results as surgery or even Botox, but the risks these procedures pose make them not worth using. Find a beauty product with good and proven ingredients and let it do the best possible job for your needs. Complement them with anti-aging and anti-wrinkle products that can help erase time from your face and prevent the appearance of new wrinkles and lines. Before you know it, you’ll be happy in the skin you’re in again.
