Water Retention: 7 Natural Tips to Relieve Bloating

When women reach a point where they stop ovulating, it is called menopause. Indicates the end of fertility in women. Menopause affects different women differently. For some, menopause starts early, but most experience it around the age of 50.

There is a reduction in the production of estrogen and progesterone in the body during and after menopause. The reduction of estrogen and other hormones in the body causes many symptoms, and women resort to various ways and medications to replenish depleted estrogen.

Retention is caused by an excessive accumulation of fluid in the body. It occurs in women during menopause or perimenopause often because they are taking estrogen replacement hormones. Get in the habit of reading labels before buying food off the shelf.

Exercise – Start walking, biking, and similar activities. These can help reduce water buildup in your body. With age, you generally tend to cut back on such activities, when in fact you need to do the exact opposite!

. Although ascorbic acid (vitamin C) increases the kidneys’ water production, its excessive use could stress the kidneys and there is a possibility of increased water retention in the future. There are certain things you can try to increase your body’s production of water.
