Inner beauty is true beauty

I was watching Jessica Simpson on the Oprah Winfrey show recently. Jessica Simpson’s career began as an impeccably clean character, but her wealth and celebrity propelled her into the spotlight and scrutiny of all. Snappers are everywhere she goes, and her incessant activities have taken away her freedoms and her ability to live a normal life.

With all this have come the comments about his weight and his personal life. Jessica Simpson is a very attractive lady. She told Oprah that her current dress size is four. 4! She said the biggest she’s ever had is a size 6. Sorry folks, but that’s not fat!

One of the sexiest girls the world has ever known was Marilyn Monroe. She was an actress and a woman who was the dreams of thousands of men. Speaking of beauty, Marilyn Monroe had it all. Let me tell you what her dress size was. are you ready for this? Twelve o’clock. Yes, I said 12! If Jessica Simpson considers herself fat in a size six, how would Marilyn Monroe consider herself today? Most likely, they consider her fat.

The attacks on Jessica Simpson as fat and the stereotype of how all women should look today have just destroyed and killed the image and self-worth of a large majority of women in today’s world.

My daughter has suffered from bulimia since she was in high school. She has been hospitalized 2 times for this. She is now 26 years old and she still hasn’t gotten it into her head how beautiful she is. She is what I consider, a little person. She has the qualities that true beauty is all about. The inner beauty of the soul. Ironically, her name is also Jessica.

My wife was going through some pictures yesterday and found some of her when we were much younger. She was in a bathing suit and she looked sexy. Remind me of one of the reasons I was so attracted to her. She brought something to her memory that she had forgotten. I asserted, “can you remember, honey, how you thought you looked so fat?” She just silently shook her head in agreement. She has always cared about her outward appearance and looks back on who she is and still is today.

The planet’s view of beauty has changed a lot since the days of Marilyn Monroe. It has become a huge industry. The beauty and diet supply industry has practically become a 100 billion dollar per year industry. Pushing her unrealistic images of how a woman is supposed to look at all girls. I don’t care what you say or how old you are, this industry is dangerous to the health and well-being of all girls today. I don’t know why more women’s organizations don’t speak out against this industry.

Women are made very differently than men. Forgive me, but we are not born equal. That’s been the biggest assumption I’ve ever heard. Men are generally bigger, stronger and we definitely don’t think alike. Women are sometimes more emotional than men. Why has the repeated attack by these tabloids on Jessica Simpson been such a harrowing and emotional experience for her? They are only words. They don’t represent the true beauty in Jessica Simpson, but she doesn’t think so. Like so many girls today, they have been tricked into believing all those lies. They haven’t taken the time to look deep within themselves and see the real person that is there.

If he was taking a look at the wedding photos he attended or was in, I can almost guarantee the man would look for himself. She would like to know how cool or not cool she looks, but the lady is looking at all the other women. She is doing some comparisons. She wants to know what everyone else looks like and how she compares to them.

All these lies feed the already very unstable and extraordinarily dubious image that all girls have of themselves. The beauty and fitness industry simply capitalizes on this weakness and directly manipulates it into their bank balances.

Ladies, you are wonderfully and beautifully created by God. He gave you all the attributes that attract men to you, but much more is the inner beauty of the soul that no person can achieve. The ease to birth new life and to love and nurture that life into a mature, whole human being. That’s what makes you so different from men. Don’t buy the media and industry lies that you have to be a size four to look good. Look inside yourself. That is who you really are. That’s what makes you, you. Because true beauty is the inner beauty of the heart. Do you have that. Find it and accentuate who you really are.
