How to have the confidence of a genius

Tea Oxford Dictionaries describes “genius” as:

– Exceptional intellectual or creative power or other natural ability.

Y

– Very smart or witty.

For this article I will focus on the “creative” or “ingenious” element of being a genius.

I’ll show you how you can think of “creative” or “clever” ways to look at trust. Every new way of looking at your self-worth that you come up with will take you one step closer to being:

– Even more confident, and

– Be a confidence genius.

I must warn you in advance that until you get used to this technique you may get a headache as it makes your brain really work.

The technique is simple. All you do is confidently compare anything and wonder how they are alike. That is all! A simple but very powerful technique.

Let me give you an example.

As I sit here writing, some of the things I can see are:

1 – A garden fence,

2 – A bird box,

3 – A plug of six extension cords,

4 – A beard (on TV), and

5 – Rain.

That’s the easy part. Now comes the hard part. How are these objects similar to trust? Asking this question will give me new insights into trust. Here it goes. I will work with the first.

1 – A garden fence. First I will write the characteristics of the fence. Holds things. Provides privacy. Provides security. It is biodegradable. It has been painted to blend in with the surroundings rather than stand out. is strong. It marks the limit of what is mine and what is other people’s. It reduces the noise pollution that enters my garden. The birds use it as a place to keep an eye on my cats. I can hang things from it. Plants can grow on it.

I will now write at least one idea for each feature.

A – Holds things. Insight = I will be able to say no to the things I want to say no to.

B – Provides privacy. Insight = No one can see into my mind and heart, so they can’t see how confident or insecure I feel. It’s only what they see on the outside and how I act that determines how confident they think I am.

C – Provides security. Insight = If I have self-esteem, it will protect me from those who want to hurt me.

D – It is biodegradable. Insight = My confidence is not harmful, in fact, it benefits the world I live in.

E – It has been painted to blend in with the surroundings rather than stand out. Insight = People will not see the effort I put into building my self-esteem, they will only see the greater results and success I have.

F is strong. Insight = Once I have more confidence, no one can take that away from me unless I let them.

G – Mark the limit of what is mine and what belongs to other people. Insight = I can build a stronger fence to keep more people out, or a smaller fence to welcome people in. If I can increase my self-esteem, I’ll feel more comfortable letting more people in, and that’s a good thing.

H – Reduces noise pollution that enters my garden. Insight = Confidence makes my life more enjoyable.

I – The birds use it as a lookout spot for my cats. Insight = If I have more self-esteem, I will be better able to be aware of the dangers that come my way. More importantly, I will also be able to look for opportunities.

J – I can hang things from it. Insight = Confidence is useful. The stronger I am, the more things I can do.

K – Plants can grow it. Insight = If I have more self-esteem, more will come naturally to me.

L – If taken care of, it will last for many years. Insight = If I do regular, daily maintenance to my confidence, it will take care of me for a lifetime.

wow. Now my head hurts. As you can see, I have quite a few ideas there. Some ideas will just be reminders of what you already know. Some will be more useful than others. You must analyze your knowledge and decide which ones you will use and how you will use them.

Now, all the previous thinking will go to waste unless you change your behavior.

The next stage is for you to figure out what you will do differently in the future to give yourself more confidence. Without a change in behavior, thinking will go to waste. The thought alone is not enough to increase your self-esteem.

You need to start by taking an idea, for example, the one that comes from the fence that is biodegradable.

You have to figure out how that perception will cause you to behave differently. You need to think of actions as a result of your perception.

Action = I will get excited to increase my self-esteem and use it to leave a legacy for the world. To start, I’m going to brainstorm for five minutes and list all the ways my greatest confidence can make the world a better place when I’m gone.

What I’m going to do now is spend five minutes typing furiously on my computer (with my kitchen clock ticking down to five minutes) listing all the ways I’m going to boost my self-esteem from now, throughout my life, until I die. enrich the world is to leave a legacy. Once I have the list, I’ll figure out some of the things I’ll need to do to make this happen, and start taking some steps to make it happen today.

What this confidence genius exercise has done for me is give me a much greater reason to want to improve my self-esteem. It’s not just about me having a better life anymore. It’s about using my life to leave the world a much better place for future generations. Who would have thought that would come from looking at a garden fence!

This technique is not fast, but it is worth the investment of time and energy. Once you have learned it, you can also use it to address any problems you have.

Try it right now. Spend at least a few minutes now working with this technique, and remember that once you’ve done this, you can call yourself a confidence genius.
