The Muha Meds Delta series of batteries are rechargeable and come in two types, the Delta Mentor and the Delta Pulse. They are suitable for most electric RC toys except those that use heavy duty electric engines. These include the Traxxas TC, Rhino and Dragonfly line of models. The Muha Meds Delta Battery is suitable for all models except the Traxxas models.
The Muha Meds Delta Battery can be charged from any suitable electric car charger or adapter; the charger must be of universal voltage. To ensure optimum performance of the battery when in operation it should be kept fully charged at all times. The battery’s charging cycle can be started by unplugging the device from the charger and then on with the normal charging cycle. The LED indicator light will indicate if the battery is fully charged.
For maximum results, the maximum recommended charge cycle for this type of battery is six times. During the first six charge cycles the charge rate may fluctuate considerably from full to low. This should be gradually replaced with the accurate charge rate of the Muha Meds Delta Series. By using the correct charge cycle, the battery should work properly even under extreme conditions.

Once the correct charging rate has been set, the batteries should be returned to their charger and allowed to remain there for another six consecutive charge cycles. After the last charge cycle the battery should be completely discharged and the antenna switch should be switched off. The battery should then be left to fully discharge itself. This cycle should be repeated until the battery is totally dry.
After this the battery can be charged and the antenna switched back on. For optimal performance, this should be done after every flying session. It is a good practice to charge the batteries completely before starting the model’s next session. This ensures that the batteries have completely gone to capacity and do not over charge. It is also important to charge the battery completely before actually using it. This is because using it right away after it has just come out of storage can lead to poor performance.
It should also be noted that chargers for NiCad battery types work differently than other types. Some models will work with a slower charging speed. This speed varies between models and can depend on the model’s power requirements. It is therefore recommended that one gets to know the batter’s specifications to avoid being confused. This way one can avoid buying an unnecessarily fast charging model and save on time and money.
