Real Self Defense Why settle for less than the truth?

Real Self Defense “Why Settle For Less Than The Truth”

What you are about to discover is the truth, and sometimes the truth hurts.

The truth is that most of what you have read or been told about self-defense by men or women is sheer nonsense. Most of what is taught is useless in a real life attack, ninety-nine percent of DVDs are teaching techniques that would never work on the street. Worse still, most martial arts schools will do nothing more than give you a false sense of security. I told you the truth hurts.

It’s true, and it’s a shame that so many unsuspecting, poorly trained, and totally disoriented men and women are walking around with a false sense of security believing they’d have a real shot at a blood and snot attack, street attack, or sexual assault. I could give the figures for the number of attacks that are taking place, but I am not going to do it. Believe me, when I look at the numbers, they are very scary.

Sure, many of the techniques work in the gym / dojo, but ask yourself if you could really stand up for yourself if you needed to. I would suggest not, so it makes sense before choosing a place to train and looking for a realistic street defense system. Of course, if you just want to get in shape and all the other things that go along with learning a martial art, that’s fine. However, if you want to learn what works under the real pressure of a real attack, take your time and choose wisely.

For example, most of the time, not all attacks occurred through some form of verbal aggression or what is called an interview or verbal exchange. Knowing how to deal with this situation is the term, talking to him can help you prevent most attacks from becoming physical. Also, if the attacker proceeds with his physical assault, his mind and body will be in high alert mode to offer the best physical defense. This is just one simple example of many that are probably never covered in most martial arts schools alongside things like adrenaline rush etc. But that’s a topic for another time, along with techniques that the average man or woman could learn simply and easily regardless of their athletic ability and that don’t require years of training. You don’t have to be strong and fast, although it helps if you are, you just need the right knowledge to start practicing in the right way how to defend yourself.

Finally, before I go, I would like to tell a story that I hope gives you an idea of where I come from.

Once upon a time there was a famous karate fighter on the island of Okinawa / Japan, who had spent his whole life studying the legendary art of karate with a master. Although he dedicated his entire life to this art, he had never had the opportunity to test his art in a real life situation against a real attacker who tried to harm him. He was not the type of man who would simply go out and seek a fight just to test his skill. So he had to wait for a suitable occasion to come. Interestingly, he wished someone would attack him so that he could prove his worth and that his karate style would be powerful outside of the controlled environment of the dojo.

He trained hard but only increased his obsession until one day he was traveling on a local commuter train when a potential situation arose, a very drunk, loaded and aggressive man boarded the train and immediately began abusing the other passengers. This is what he thought to himself; this is my chance to test my art. He waited for the man to catch up with him as he made his way through the carriage, he was cursing everyone around him becoming louder and more aggressive, causing the other passengers to back off for fear of being attacked.

As the drunkard approached the karate man, preparing for the seemingly inevitable assault on his persona, preparing for a bloody encounter prepared to demonstrate his art in the ultimate arena, but before he could rise from his seat, the front passenger. of him stood up and faced the drunk jovially. Hey what’s up? You seem like a man with problems. Come sit with me, there is no need to be abusive. Nobody on this train wants to fight you.

The karate man watched in amazement as the passenger spoke skillfully to the drunkard in his rage. Within minutes, the drunk was pouring out his heart for the passenger. The somewhat astonished karate man thought to himself “that’s karate (true self defense). He realized in that instant that the passenger with a comforting arm around the sobbing drunk was demonstrating karate and all martial arts in their highest form the art of fighting without fighting. ” The moral of this story is that the jaw, the jaw is better than war, war, and that evasion is always better than confrontation where no one is the winner, I think you will agree.
