Do you want to record Wii games? Find out how to record Wii games here

Are you lucky enough to own the Wii video game console? Well, if you are lucky enough to do so, you might be wondering how you can record Wii gameplay. I am right? I know this question crosses the minds of 75% of Wii console owners. Why? Well let’s be honest here, Wii games are NOT cheap and there are TONS of games out there so when you buy a game you want to make sure you back it up.

Now, you may think you can pick your game, put it in your CD drive, and use the same burning software you use to burn a music CD. You may have even tried this, but it just didn’t work. Well, I’m here to tell you that it didn’t work because there is a copyright protection embedded in the Wii disc to prevent you from burning Wii games. But don’t be discouraged, luckily there is a way to avoid this and burn your Wii games. All you need is a computer with a DVD burner, a blank disc to burn the game, a game to burn, and a software program called “Game Copy Wizard”.

So how does this software work? Actually it is very simple. If you have used recording software before, then you will have absolutely no problem recording your games. After installing the software on your computer, all you have to do is insert the game you want to burn into your disc drive and let the computer create an “image” of the disc. An “image” is basically a backup copy that will be placed on your hard drive. Once you’re done, all you have to do is replace the Wii game disc with a blank disc. The “image” you just put on your hard drive will be recorded onto the new blank drive. So you have a backup of that game.

Learning how to record Wii games is beneficial to you in many ways. You won’t have to worry about your original copy getting scratched and unusable, because you’ll always have a backup. And we all know how easily a game can become unusable due to scratches on the disc surface.
